Proven quality with a new name 

The Titgemeyer group based in Osnabrück has launched a strategic change and separates from its body assembly set production in Lotte as from 1st January 2024. For many years now the company has served its loyal customer base for cutting-edge kits and transfers production and customers to an equally experienced and competent successor: WIHAG Fahrzeugbausysteme GmbH based in Bielefeld. The transition is arranged in such way ensuring that all obligations towards customers and suppliers will be adopted seamlessly.

WIHAG decided primarily for the acquisition, because of the extensive skills, many years of experience and high level of employee commitment. The WIHAG CEO, Willi Giesbrecht, appreciates the body assembly kits as an ideal supplement to the current production portfolio of curtainsider sets, sectional doors, drop sides and double wing doors. The company can now offer almost all components for bodies to vehicle builders and use the proven products such as roller shutters and doors for the boxes as well.

WIHAG will continue to manufacture and assemble at its existing factory in Stadtilm. In the Lotte plant, other innovative products are to be produced as well as the body assembly sets in order to support and expand this works.

Production of the well-known Titgemeyer body assembly sets GETO^® City, GETO^® Van and GETO^® Plastivan will be continued in proven quality under the new names WIHAG^®City, WIHAG^®Van, WIHAG^®Plastivan.
