The centerpiece of the new body kit is the PP panel, which can be completely recycled. WIHAG thus offers an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional GRP solutions, which is not only more sustainable to produce but also easier to recycle.
With this material, we are taking a decisive step towards a circular economy and making an important contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions – both in the manufacture and operation of vehicles.

- Low weight: The lightweight panels reduce the total weight of the truck, which leads to lower fuel consumption
- For example, the WIHAG GreenBox Lite with LxWxH=4,100x2,100x2,300 mm, sprung roof, including 2-wing rear door, aluminum floor assembly, and PP floor panel weighs only 350 kg.
- Without the floor assembly and PP floor, the body weighs only 230 kg.
- High impact resistance: The material is extremely robust and resistant to external influences.
- No adhesives: The connection between the core and the top layer does not require any adhesive, which makes production even more environmentally friendly.
- Improved CO₂ balance: The use of recyclable material and fuel savings during operation significantly improve the CO₂ balance of the entire vehicle.
- Optimization for VECTO: The lower vehicle weight contributes to an improved VECTO balance, which is crucial for compliance with EU CO₂ regulations.

Like all well-known WIHAG®Van models, the WIHAG®Greenbox Lite is delivered to the vehicle manufacturer on transport racks in a production-optimized and storage-optimized manner.
Short unloading times, safe interim storage and shorter assembly times are guaranteed. During assembly, only bolting from the inside is required. All assembly openings are already provided. It is no longer necessary to seal the individual components, only the cast corners at the front and rear are glued by the vehicle manufacturer.
